Geeta Fest, organized as part of the Chinmaya Geeta Chanting Competition (CGCC), is a celebration of the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. This annual event aims to inspire individuals, especially the youth, to delve into the sacred scripture and imbibe its values for personal and societal upliftment. Geeta Fest serves as a platform to learn, chant, and live the teachings of the Gita.
- Learning Geeta and chanting has profound impacts on the young minds. Members of Chinmaya Mission Ukkunagaram under the able guidance of Swami Raghuveerananda Saraswati have been conducting Geeta Chanting competitions regularly for young children between the age of 3 – 16 years .
- Members of Devi group of Chinmaya Mission Ukkunagaram work tirelessly for months reaching out to schools in and around Visakhapatnam & Anakapalli district to reach atleast a lakh of students.
